The Bali Bougainvillea

Poetry

Bali, where the sun meets the sea,
The Bougainvillea, wild and free.
Cascade of color, in hues so bright,
Symphony of pinks, a lover’s delight.

Twining and climbing, with lust it ascends,
Over trellises and rooftops, where beauty transcends.
Its petals, like paper, in the tropical breeze,
Flitter and dance with the sublime ease.

In the morning light, it catches the sun,
A erotic explosion, where day has begun.
By night, under moonlight, it quietly rests,
A sentinel of splendour, nature’s finest guest.

Gardens and pathways it claims as its own,
Creating an Eden where dreams have grown.
Its thorns, though sharp, protect and defend,
The tender blossoms, on which life depends.

Yeah, Bali Bougainvillea, your radiant glow,
A symbol of passion, in every petal’s show.
In your vibrant presence, one can only find,
The essence of paradise, pure and kind.

Let your riot of color unfurl, bright and wide,
In the heart of Bali, with nothing to hide.
For in every bloom, a story is told,
Of tropical wonders and memories bold.
